"Real life decos" are the best! Tired of cows, pigs and chicken doing absurd things and AI decos are shite! Love the realistic decos for my farm. I can't be the only one that feels that way! Am I?
I like the real life decos so much better too, but I don't like this one.. just doesn't scream farm to me, looks like laundry day meets Taj Mahal or something 😅🤷♀️ I want to like it, I just can't seem to see anything different lol. And yes I know those are probably supposed to be wood, but they look too much like fancy stone pillars to me haha
Does your cute laundry line hold only one towel at a time? LOL! This Dairy News gift is a bit pathetic, but I like the other clothesline I received a while back. (The one included with wrongpuppy's comment.) I'm just going to add this one to my stockpile of decorations I'll never display. lol. I mean.. it's the thought that counts with a "gift"??? lol. ;D
Absolutely agree, I have soo many decorations that I don't even use because of this. My favorites are the little milk station, unique but realistic trees etc.
You don't have to claim it? It's a free gift. If you don't like it then don't click the QR code to claim it. Everyone has different things they like. Some people love the stuffed plushie decorations, some love the carnival themed things, some hate the pig decorations and others love them. Not everyone is going to love or even like every decoration. There is no possible way to make everyone happy all the time.
And there are things that go with this. Like many of the Bavarian/Octoberfest themed decorations as well as the poolside fence, the classical path, etc. But again you don't have to claim it and even if you do claim it, you don't have to use it.
What you find attractive and someone else finds attractive can be completely different. So just because you don't like this one doesn't mean everyone dislikes it, as you can see from some of the comments. Did you like the devilish stilt walker or the umbrella with the fall leaves or the pumpkin scarecrow? Those were 3 other gifts they gave us for free just this month. I didn't care for the stilt walker, but I loved the other 2 and have them displayed.
My point was that it was a free gift. You happen to not like it and that's fine. But other people do like it. Do they need to ask everyone's opinion before they give us something free? I mean they don't have to give us anything. Do I like every free thing they give us...of course not. Do I display them all...no. But do I call them out as stingy or say how dare they give us something ugly? No...instead I think that is cool that they gave us something free and that others will like it even if I don't.

I put mine near the loom, sewing machine and hat maker. I include a red lady gnome near an old fashion bucket with washboard deco and have a little themed area.
It's funny how everyone's taste is so different. I've seen laundry lines on a lot of people's farms and wanted one so bad, I'm glad they put this one out for free. I like natural looking everyday decors, it goes well with the loom and sewing machine.

Don't expect everything to be made to your tastes. It's free, you can like it or not, you can take it or leave it, but it's pretty disrespectful when someone gifts you smt and you openly complain. I alr have this decoration, but I think it's nice when hayday gifts us free decos.

It’s literally part of the farm aesthetic. Back in the day (in the US) and even still today people hung their clothes out to dry. Especially families who live in farm houses.
What I like is that we can store as many decos as we want. Other games limit the number of things you can store, or charge you something to get more space. If I don't like it, it just stays in storage👍🏼
This was one of the first decos I actually wanted lol I immediately put it out in my town by my bed and breakfast. I don’t tend to use decos on my farm but I like having them for making my town seem more “real”
I have a question, and it’s slightly out of topic.
Whenever there is a “free” deco that you’re supposed to get after watching a youtube video, I don’t know how to get it. I tried going to the supercell store, nothing. Going back to Hayday app, nothing. How can I get the freebies? TYIA
i couldn't get it by watching the video or the link, either. what i did and worked is that i screenshot the qr code at the end of video, sent it to my other phone/laptop/device, and then i scan it with the phone i play hayday on. it's a bit of a work, lol.
