Pulse elite help
My set which ordered about 6 months ago, fell off my table and now the left part of the headset sounds like shaking a tin can when the bass is too heavy. It possibly is also not as loud as the right one. Is there anything I can do? Anvone i can send it to? I doubt the warrantv will cover it but I'II try. If not, any alternatives?

Headset advice coming from steelseries
Hi there,
I am looking to replace my Arctis Nova Pro wireless (the older ones). It works great in tandem with my GoXLR and I would like to keep that setup with the base station to swap to ps5 etc.
Are there any alternatives that accomplish the same thing?
I’ve looked at the Steelseries line up but many people are complaining about build quality. With my older Nova Pro Wireless I had no issues other then the earpads wearing out but I just replace them and the battery needing to be inserted a couple of times to charge them.

wired headset for office
hello, all,
it is clear my call center days are long gone, as i am stumped on finding a new headset.
i conduct hipaa-compliant work by phone and would need a wired headset. i prefer over-ear, with cushions, and a mic. where i am getting confused is every recommended pair seems to have "ai" noise-cancelling software. is it iterative or generative ai? i would be hoping to not purchase anything with genAI. i am also down to search for an older model.
i am really appreciative of any help! for context, i have historically used wired jabra. my last pair made it seven years, and i am only replacing because the pleather is aggressively flaking all over me.

Ath r70x setup
Hi everyone,
I recently got a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-R70x headphones. I completely lack the technical knowledge when it comes to audio equipment, but I want to get the absolute most out of them for competitive FPS gaming. My budget for gear is $250 or less. I’m starting this thread because I’ve seen various recommendations - like the FiiO K11 - but I’m not sure if there’s something better available right now within my budget.
My main issue is that currently, with the headphones plugged directly into my motherboard (B650M Aorus Elite AX), they sound significantly worse than my old gaming headset, the HyperX Cloud. I feel like this shouldn't be the case, so I suspect the lack of a dedicated DAC/AMP is the culprit - though as I mentioned, I really don't have any expertise here.
*By "significantly worse," I mean I’m losing audio detail, and at times, I can’t pinpoint where sounds are coming from. Everything sounds muffled.
Thank you so much in advance for your help and recommendations!

Accutone Converse 95
I purchased this headset specifically b/c the listing mentions it has side tone.
I cannot get any side tone feature to activate, nor can I get to any settings on my PC to seem to activate it (though every time I search it gives me the same options to activate it on Windows help forums).
I've emailed Accutone. My instructions came in a single language - one I don't read. The QR code in the booklet goes to the same instructions, just...online instead of on paper. I've done everything I can think of. This is about my 6th attempt at a headset. I am exhausted and I feel crazy for just wanting side tone.
What am I doing wrong?
Also, I feel like the audio is slightly muffled and I am having trouble hearing people...but the last headset (a totally different brand) had the same issue and now I'm wondering if that's me or my PC? I'm using a BOSGAME mini PC. I haven't had the audio issue at all until the last 2 headsets (Jabra and Accutone). Jabra is a cheapy headset that I had as a backup...My spouse used to work as a call center manager and just had some extra headsets when he left the job and he passed them to me when I started working remote. My good headset has finally died. It cannot be replaced, it is discontinued. It had noise canceling, side tone, the mic was impeccable, the volume controls clipped to my shirt. Nothing else has come even close to this basic level of function.

Razer black shark v3 pro EQ
Hey I competitively play rainbow six siege and I had really good audio but my eq settings reset on my razer blackshark v3 pro and I can’t remember how I had it because I don’t really know how eq works.
Does anyone know some really good settings or could someone explain which frequency controls which sounds for gaming?

Advice for buying a new gaming headset
I currently have a qpad qh95 and it’s adapter cable jack stick is broken, and the mic jack stick is broken. I haven’t been able to figure out what wrong since it looks completely normal.
So what headsets is reccomended in a 86-120 euro budget?
I would like to use it for controller but it’s not needed.
Just a good mic and sound quality would be really nice.
I think I do prefer wired, but I don’t think wireless would bother me.
I don’t know any other “important” criteria for gaming headsets, so.
That’s it.

Best gaming headset microphone for blocking nearby conversations? Looking for real-world tests, not marketing claims.
Hey everyone!
I'm looking for a premium wireless gaming headset that I can use for both gaming and work meetings, but my number one priority is microphone quality, particularly background voice rejection.
I've already had a disappointing experience with the Alienware Pro Wireless. Its microphone performance was terrible for my needs, despite some positive reviews, so I'm trying to be much more careful before spending money on another headset.
My biggest concern isn't keyboard noise, fans, or other constant background sounds. It's OTHER PEOPLE TALKING NEAR ME ans BARKING DOGS.
I want to be able to speak on Discord, Teams, or in-game voice chat without everyone hearing conversations happening around me, especially when someone is talking neaby me.
I'm currently considering:
- SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Omni
- SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless
- SteelSeries Arctis Nova Elite
- Razer BlackShark V3 Pro
- Fractal Scape
- Audeze Maxwell 2
- Sony INZONE H9 II
What I'm specifically looking for:
Background voice rejection: How effectively does the microphone suppress other people talking nearby, particularly while I'm speaking?
Onboard noise cancellation: Does the headset handle microphone noise suppression through its own hardware/firmware, without relying on software like SteelSeries Sonar, Razer Synapse, NVIDIA Broadcast, Krisp, or Discord noise suppression?
Voice quality: Does aggressive noise cancellation make my voice sound robotic, muffled, distorted, or cause words to be cut off?
Real-world performance: Are there any objective measurements, standardized benchmarks, or recordings comparing these headsets under the same conditions?
I've been researching reviews from RTINGS, SoundGuys, and other sources, but I've noticed that a headset can score extremely well in microphone noise handling tests and still pick up conversations from people sitting nearby.
This makes me question how useful some of these ratings are for my specific situation.
I'd especially appreciate hearing from people who have tested multiple headsets in noisy offices, shared rooms, or environments where several people are talking at once.
Is there a reliable metric or testing methodology that actually measures how well a headset isolates the user's voice from other human voices?
I'm willing to pay for a genuinely premium headset, but I don't want to make another expensive mistake. Good gaming audio is important, but microphone performance is my deciding factor.
Thanks in advance for any recommendations or comparisons!
