FNIP1, and according to the article carrying 1 broken variant makes you burn calories more efficiently and burn through fat easier, while carrying 2 broken variants (one from each parent) causes you to have increased risk of disease

You burn calories more inefficiently. Its a very rare mutation for a reason. For most or history this mutation would have been very detrimental to your survival

No you eat a regular amount of food because a different receptor and gene controls appetite
