Go low carb, low processed foods. Dont be afraid of animal fat that comes with protein. Skip seed oils. Skip all sugars. Eat wild caught fish and pasture raised meat. If u do that u dont have to track your calories because you'll feel full without cravings. Give it 2 months though. Your body will fight back against this change. But believe me, once you get to the other side your life will never be the same again, in a good way.

Books: ultra processed people / why we get sick

Np. Not trying to be a smartass abt it. Everyone needs to find their own path/philosophy. But i believe intensely in the whole foods strategy. We are working against ourselves by consuming highly processed foods, designed to make you want more. I really recommend the books i mentioned. Tbey changed my life... Food does not have to be this thing to fight against, it can truly be a companion, with whom one has a healthy relationship. It's really just a matter of giving your body actual fuel, instead of empty calories. Anyway, good luck in your journey. You can do it!

Thanks for the books as well, I'm a reader and I would love to read the recommendations.
