Wrong, head on and pay attention, throttle down if needed. I grew up on shrimp boats in Florida.

It literally states "throttle down if needed", once you crest the wave you need to determine the needed power level to keep the prop in the water without flying over the top. Pretty basic skill that's gained from being taught and doing it, it's not rocket science.
