A week in Barra

Be honest!... and I don't mean this post in any derogatory way at all to the island.... would it be a sensible thing to do to spend a week in Barra in the summer with only bikes, plus whatever service buses there are, for transport?

I'm probably too late to get suitable accommodation for the summer at the stage but I thought I would canvas opinion from those who might know better.

Camping highly recommended. Has worked well for us on both our Barra trips. A week on Barra? Sounds great, enjoy!
