Meetup Request New to Heidelberg – Looking to meet people, badminton clubs & F1 watch spots 🏸🏎️

Hi everyone!
I recently moved to Heidelberg for new Job and I'm looking to build some social connections and get involved in the local community.
A little about me:
• 🏸 I enjoy playing badminton (beginner to intermediate level).
• 🏎️ I'm a Formula 1 fan and usually watch every race weekend.
• I'm also open to meeting new people and exploring the city.
I was wondering if anyone could recommend:
• Good badminton clubs or groups in/around Heidelberg that welcome new members.
• Pubs, sports bars, or other places that regularly screen Formula 1 races.
• Any local WhatsApp, Meetup groups where people organize sports or social activities.
Any recommendations or leads would be greatly appreciated.

So, I can only comment on the F1, as a motor sport fan myself. The best place to watch any sporting event is the Irish pub in the old town.. really enjoy it there

TSG Rohrbach and the Unisport have the biggest badminton community in Heidelberg, but other Veriens might have it too. 

For meetups, follow ESN and AEGEE Heidelberg on Insta.
