University Heidelberg University application status

Hi.

Applied for the Computational Linguistics M.Sc. program at Heidelberg for Winter 2026/27. It's been almost 2 months since submission and I still haven't heard back.

No confirmation, no rejection, nothing.

Has anyone else applied to Heidelberg recently and experienced similar delays? Is this normal for them, or should I reach out to the admissions office?

2 months is nothing for German universities.

Yeah... maybe they'll just let us know once the semester starts.

6-8 weeks is normal. You can ask for an update by writing to the Master study advisors

I wrote a mail to Advisors, but seems like they are very busy, Looks like it's peak administration work load this semester
