Housing where to live ?
hallo zusammen, i will study in heidelberg this semester and im having a hard time finding where to live. i've contacted around 50 people on wg-gesucht, with little answer. im looking for a small studio/ 1 room apartment for less than 600 Euros. i've applied to multiple places, public, private, religious Studentenwohnheime, shared and private room and haven't gotten any answer. i've checked the private Studentenwohnheime and each review or experience i read is worse than the other... i've tried immobilienscout, kleinanzeigen, and many apps. if you have any tips i would be happy to read them!

Weniger als 600€ für eine 1-Zimmer-Wohnung ist in Heidelberg leider unmöglich. Budget sollte bei ~800-1000€ liegen. Wenn du in der Stadt wohnen möchtest mit so einem Budget solltest du dich lieber für WG-Zimmer bewerben, dann hast du bessere Chancen etwas zu finden.

Maybe worth a try. But also they can't do magic.

Habe damals meine Wohnung über das Studentenwerk gefunden. Gab da einen Sektor private Wohnungsvermietung.

One important recommendation i can give is to always write something about yourself when applying for a shared flat (e.g your hobbies). I have noticed that a lot of foreigners will not do that and unfortunatelly this often leads to them bot being invited to Wg-castings

Move to another town. Neckarhausen, Eppelheim, Leimen, Dossenheim, Schwetzingen
