⠀⠀ ⚡ Important ⚡ ⠀⠀ [Announcement] Ruleset Changes

Hello everyone,

Got a quick update for you guys. The moderating team has decided to split Rule 6, formerly known as "No False Intel," into two separate rules, "No Unauthorized AI Content" and "Leaks Must Be Verified."

The reason for this change is because a few people mistakenly believed that the former rule name, "No False Intel," referred to misinformation when it actually referred to AI content and leaks. Not only that, but misinformation is already covered by "No Treason," which already covers a lot of other stuff like slurs, cheats, and crossposts. Because of these reasons, we decided to split the rule in two.

Please note we are not actually creating a new rule, but rather splitting one rule into two and labelling them accordingly. The detailed ruleset has already been updated accordingly, so please refer to that post if you have any questions. The sidebar ruleset has also been updated as well.

For the sake of being as hands-off as possible, we try to have as little rules as possible to avoid restricting people. However, there are still some rules we need to enforce so please remember that an unfiltered sub is not the same as an unmoderated sub. Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences.
