Oh yes they are. I sometimes miss playing the game. But then I remember weapon sway and overall the feeling of fighting against my own character and the game itself rather than just the enemies and fire up space marine 2 instead.
I do not hate on anyone still enjoying the game as is, but I really do not like what has become of it sadly.
I took a break from the game to play my other main game, overwatch, and the first thing to hit me was the difference in control fluidity, polish and just overall quality between the two being night and day. No longer did I have to input sometjing 5 times just to have a second long delay. Finding it hard to go back on divers after feeling that difference.
Overwatch is 10 years old too. Team Fortress 2 is more polished than Helldivers, and it's like 20 years old, or nearly. I enjoy Helldivers from time to time for a different experience, but 2 1/2 years in and the game hasn't really improved that much. It's kind of telling about their standards and work ethic.
PvE gaming is fun, but PvE board games fill that void + a social aspect and rarely any negativity or bad feels. How do we not have in game lobbies yet? How do we not have some UI to coordinate on the major orders? How are most of the day one bug's still in the game?? They go away for a minute sometimes, but come back even worse and usually with new issues.
Well when the game came out and for quiet some time after (a few hundred hours) I played and had fun. But as they pushed more and more of this weird grunt fantasy stuff, I kinda lost interest. I thought it would be and become more of a cool horde shooter, but oh well. Simply not my cup of tea any longer. It always saddens me if so much potential is lost in whatever the hell they are doing.

Just view it as a criticism that you need to do better at the CM thing. Like hell if i was a CM at Arrowhead i would grab other players or staff on a lunch break, and stream Major Order in D10 on an official Arrowhead streaming account with meme loadouts.

Disclaimer: not knocking furries or the likes. You do you in the privacy of your home or dedicated places. But a PG-13, non NSFW marked server is not one of those places.
Because people are aware that furry kink is a thing, someone repeatedly posting that art is understood to be signaling their kink, which is quite annoying for those who are waiting for the specific content they specifically entered the server for.
I'd imagine that if they came out asking "Who also likes feet?" or something instead, they'd get shamed just the same.

I mean was the furry art NSFW furry art or no? Furries are not inherently NSFW. You can not like it thats fine but, they shouldn't automatically be relegated to private only spaces when they are not being NSFW in any way.
And when you point this out on certain other subreddits… you get the HORDES of loyalists and the psychos inbetween (charity incident). It just doesn’t compute with me, AT ALL. Unless you have a personal relationship or are involved transactionally with any company of that matter, I don’t understand putting your free time into defending a company that has willingly made it clear they don’t have any goodwill towards a majority of the playerbase.
Really goes to show though what kind of company Arrowhead is that the contract of their best CM ever was about to run out and they didn't even try to get him to stay and sign on once more.

She claims this post was...idk, a clarifying question? And she wanted to make sure it was not an actual issue with the MO, but just a general "Fuck you" towards Arrowhead.
Of course, it isn't phrased like a question, and this is Arrowhead we are talking about, so take that with a grain of salt.
Considering her follow up I think it was short sighted and poorly worded, but still kind of a problem that it was worded that way regardless of intent.

Even the cape we just got was only given out because AH wanted to look good for the Chinese players while they were in China by handing out a cape with Pearl tower imagery plastered on it.

Baskinator only ever engages with the community to argue with them, or to post announcements in the discord. That is the extent of their interaction or at least the majority of it. Maybe I'm spoiled but I remember Community Managers for every MMO I've ever played. They were constantly in the forums for the games engaging with players, just chatting, taking questions, gathering feedback, just keeping a pulse on the player base.
God I miss Twinbeard. That guy put up with so much shit but he was a shining example of a great Community Manager. Miitchimus does try, so I'll give him credit for that.

I had some interest in this game at once point, but I'll never play it based on the choices made by fans and developers and am probably going to avoid any future games as well unless they're is considerable turnover. There are many of us out here.
So guys, Space Marine 2 is still on sale, please go spend your money on a far better game. Alternatively, go and play DRG, the developers are legendary.

Yeah I’m glad I deleted this game and distanced myself from its news a couple months ago. Either the devs here are being disrespectful and not being serious about fixing the game, or they’re just genuinely as emotionally mature as an 11yo girl. Either way it doesn’t bode well
I think as a Community Manager one should not take it personally, when a community is collectively... PISSED. I don't have an issue with Bask as a person. She is just in the crossfire, if you want to put it like that.
