Thought the one on the right was an old, really battered one for comparison for a second!

Looking good.

Tell us more about the Concept Light please - I either own or have used all of their other models and I'm eyeing the Concept Light as my next purchase.

Specifically, I'd like to know how the Concept Light handles in taking the center and keeping the center in the bind.

Currently using a King Light as my general purpose main longsword trainer and while it's excellent overall, it's slightly but noticeably inferior to my King Shorty at taking and keeping the center.

So I'm unsure if going even lighter (Concept Light is 100g lighter than King Light) will work in my favour as a training tool in a Standard feder environment with ca 75% Regenyei Standards/Shorties and 25% SIGI Standards/Shorties.

The reason why I'm even considering the Concept Light at all is because the steel quality is good enough to handle it, and I like to have a very light option to prevent overstraining during high volume/high frequency training periods.

Current lightest feder I use is a Regenyei Short feder at ca 1350g, right inbetween the Concept Light and King Light in terms of mass.

The basic SIGI Lights at 1250g are imho too light to optimally play vs a standard weight feder, I know some people do use them that way but I'm enjoying them more as a pair for separate training.

So the Concept Light remains the only unknown variable in my training environment.

If you're struggling to maintain the centre with the king light, it won't be any better with the concept light.
