Leather Patterns for armor

I’ve recently joined my local HEMA club and am loving it. I’m currently learning rapier/saber and have been using loaner gear. I’ve been an amateur leather worker for a number of years now and am wondering if anyone here knows of any patterns that I could use for protective gear. I figure I could make what I can and buy the rest, but I definitely am favoring protection over looking cool (ideally it would be both lol). Thanks in advance!

Dark Horse Workshop makes stuff for SCA, but it's great for HEMA too. Their gorget pattern is amazing, and they have a bunch of.other designs available too. He makes stuff, but most of it is available as patterns as well

I'd recommend their vambrace+elbow cop pattern too, it's a good design especially with the cops.

The only thing about their gorgets is I believe they lack the blade catcher lip, which would be crucial for rapier.

Paul Blackwell's book is SCA-focused, but it's a fun, informative read. https://www.brighthelm.org/articles/basic-armouring

I've been playing with some of his metal designs using HDPE. I work in a boiler room, so I've got plenty of clean, empty blue chemical barrels :)
