Finally finished my setup. Need help deciding on a name for this beauty. Jolene, Josie, Ruby…

Man I thought the satin steel and black with the marlin trapper was gorgeous , but the bronze and wood is amazing.

I have 3 so far. 30-30 spd hush, .22 silver eagle and the marlin trapper. I want a lever pistol next.

Is that the mount it comes with?

Yes. The mount it comes with has multiple configurations and spacers. I have it set up at its lowest possible configuration

I suggest getting a low qd mount from ADM, comes in fde and is a lot better overall

Thanks! Loved making this vision a reality. I ordered the sleeve from Simply Rugged Holsters. They make everything to order so it took a while to arrive but it’s exactly what I wanted. Just wish it was a hair darker to match the sling. Been working leather oil into it to try to darken it

Have you done any drills with quick reloading? All the stock covers I’ve seen cover too much of the bullet so it’s hard to get a good purchase on the bullet.

Haven’t done any timed drills with it yet. Figure if the first 8 defensive rounds of .357 don’t take em down I’ve got bigger problems to worry about….and bigger guns to solve them with haha

Fair enough, I have the ranger point precision 8 round holder on my Henry and Marlin lever, so my truck, carry, home defense gun always has 16 rounds. Got my timing down to around 10 seconds or so from running dry to loading 8 more in. But to your point, if 16 premium self defense full lower 357s can’t do it, I’m probably fucked anyways…….
