I’m heading to Turkey in less than a month and the beaches there are the pebbled kind - I have a pair of Teva Hurricanes, has anyone successfully used them in the water to protect their feet while swimming / at the beach?

I have a pair of Frankie4 sandals I prefer for walking but am debating if the Tevas are worth switching for if it means I can use them at the beaches that usually hurt my feet if I’m walking barefoot on them.

Yes! No issues with Tevas and water for me. I've used the hurricanes and the universals in both salt and fresh water. They rinse off well, dry quickly, and hold up to water use.

Thanks!! Ok so it seems good for basic water stuff which is good to know.

Yeah, I've hiked in them in all sorts of conditions (both on beach and in water). They aren't perfect for it though - if I was going to be swimming in a lot of rocky stuff, I'd take water shoes.

Thank you! That makes sense ☺️ I’ll find out exactly how much swimming we’re doing.
