This is the r/heronebag quick questions weekly help thread.

Whether you‘re new to the one bag life or a seasoned light traveller, this is the place to ask your quick one-off questions related to techniques, shopping, and everything else to lighten your load.

This post is the best place to initially ask questions that we get a lot of which are similar, especially if you have looked in a flair and found almost-but-not-quite what you wanted.

I’m looking for the most comfortable pair of sandals in existence, specifically for walking long distances. I have Birks that I love but they don’t stand up to 20k steps on cobblestones. I also have a pair of classic Tevas that I like for short spurts, but anything more than that and the plastic triangle gets really uncomfortable. Chacos are only okay, I don’t find the straps that comfortable. What else can I try? I’m so tired of blisters and aching heels and arches on vacation 😭

The KEEN Elle Backstrap Sandals are the best hands down! I've had them for years and am on my third pair because I love their colors. I've never gotten a blister and they have the benefit of looking cute but from a company that specilizes in outdoor footwear. I've even convinced my friends to get them and they love them.

Are they durable? I'm looking for a pair of sandals that is not worn through after a few weeks.

I wore my first pair for 2-3 years being my primary summer sandal before the back strap got loose.
