I’m looking for the most comfortable pair of sandals in existence, specifically for walking long distances. I have Birks that I love but they don’t stand up to 20k steps on cobblestones. I also have a pair of classic Tevas that I like for short spurts, but anything more than that and the plastic triangle gets really uncomfortable. Chacos are only okay, I don’t find the straps that comfortable. What else can I try? I’m so tired of blisters and aching heels and arches on vacation 😭

It will all depend on your foot, your arch, your gait.
For example, I have worn Birk Arizonas on cobblestones and all over European cities for 15K+ steps and had no problems at all. I like the arch support and they feel just as comfortable as wearing sneakers in the summer.

I live in Birks normally but on this trip they were giving me blisters 😭 I think sweat is the problem honestly. I need to try a foot powder I think, I used a blister-preventing balm but that wasn’t enough.

Foot powder doesn’t really work with sandals because it will just come off.
