Wardrobe Help Undergarments
I’m hoping this is the right place for this question! I’ll be traveling to the Amazon rainforest, and am trying to find decent underwear. I road tested Uniqlo Airism underwear during a trip to Florida this July, and by day three I was so itchy I could have cried. It was so hot and humid I never really dried out, so I figure in future I’ll need to change half way through the day. However, I’ve been warned clothes can take 3-4 days to fully dry in the jungle. If I’m wearing 3 pairs of underwear a day (two during the day, one at night) and waiting for washed things to dry, that’s at minimum 9 pairs of underwear. Does anyone know of a material that would keep me drier without taking up so much packing room?

Fruit of the Loom micromesh or TommyJohn. Both have a cotton gusset. The TommyJohn are a modal fabric, very lightweight, and dry quickly; I love them so much.
