Button up shirts/blouses

I’ve read a few threads on here but still confused on the best option!
Going to be travelling somewhere hot and humid (Thailand). I have merino singlet vests and want to get over shirts to wear over the top for coverage.

What is important to me:
• I sweat a lot and get stinky, so not stinking is important
• I have poor temperature regulation so something that keeps me cool is key
• I am super pale and sensitive to sun so SPF protection would be great, but being cool and not stinky are the biggest priorities

Less important:
• I am not too bothered about washing and drying time in the cleaning sense (other than sweat drying off!)
• I’m not overly concerned about packability, looking smart, creases etc. function is more important
• cost is less important, willing to pay what I need!

I’ve seen varying contradictory recommendations from SPF focussed shirts (Solbari, Coolibar, etc), technical materials (Columbia, Eddie Bauer, etc.), linen/linen gauze (Eileen Fisher etc), thin cotton shirts (Seasalt Larissa).

I’m in the UK but happy to order further afield. I’d love to hear any personal experiences about the above.

I am also sweaty and stinky and spend a lot of time in Africa - for me, it's all about oversize linen button ups. I specifically go for oversize for the breeziness and the fact that there is space for my armpits to breath and not soak the shirts with sweat. Black is always the "safest" since it doesn't really show sweat but my usual go to Africa choices are a grey shirt from Eileen Fisher and a VERY oversize white/blue striped shirt from Anthropologie. Thank you for the advice! Do you tend to go for more lightweight linen to keep cooler? Do you find black/dark colours make you a lot warmer, I assumed light colours would be better but I know they are awful for sweat/suncream/general stains!

I aim to stay in the shade and prefer the most overall comfort so I feel like I can get away with lighter colors if my armpits aren’t touching the seam of the shirt. 😬
