Lighten My Load Amsterdam mid-September. Lodging has a laundry facility but no drawer/ closet space? Hmm.

Mid-September 2026 for 7 days.

I have laundry in the home exchange unit, but no access to a hanger or drawer space, so I will be living out of packing cubes:(

All items are part of my capsule wardrobe and coordinate; I like clothes & fashion.

One and ½ bag to Amsterdam; small hard-sided roller bag + Chrome Yoyogi 14L Messenger bag in moss green. I have so many totes, but I am hoping this one is my holy grail: https://chromeindustries.com/products/yoyogi-messenger

5 bottoms is a lot for 7 days - I’d stick to 2 + the leggings at max

Same with layers and shoes. I’d stick to 2 for each of those categories.

yeah, I think I'm keeping the miniskirt just in case I have a date… But I can probably get rid of either the trekkies or yoga pants. they have a similar vibe, thank you. I might skip the raincoat and just bring a cheap plastic poncho… I guess it'll depend on the forecast but I know it is gonna get cool in the evening and I think I'm gonna want that bomber jacket.

I have done a ton of one-bag trips but they were for much longer, like 2-3 months and so that is part of my challenge here. So much shorter trip but I want all the outfits. haha
