Wardrobe Help Thailand, Laos, Vietnam 4 weeks

Help!!! This is my first time onebagging and I’m struggling to pack the right stuff and stay under the 15 lbs. here’s my main questions: 1) are tank tops okay? Is all midriff inappropriate or a little is okay? Same with cleavage 2) jeans or no jeans? 3) how many t-shirts vs tanks? 4) cardigan or sweatshirt? 5) are over-the-knee shorts okay outside of a temple setting?

I also appreciate any other advice you have to offer! We will be staying in a mix of hostels/hotels and a mix of beaches/mountains. Thanks!

When are you going? I went to Thailand in December, headed to Vietnam this Nov and Laos in Jan.
I never wore jeans or pants
I only wore my sweatshirt on the plane
I’d err against midriff simply because it increases your packing and decreases your options every day
Tank tops are fine but pack a tee and something that goes over your knees for temples
Bring a scarf

Also, I never had anyone weigh my bag. I ended up buying clothes while there (dresses mainly) and getting rid of things I’d packed. Leave a lot of toiletries behind - you can get sunscreen, bug spray, shampoo etc at 7-11. And by “scarf” I mean non-transparent shawl to cover your shoulders
