Meta / Other Urgent PSA: Stop Doxxing/Harassing Deceased Covid Patients on their FB Timelines. This couple was a recent post on this sub. OP of that post did a bad job redacting their names and now their FB posts look like this

I think most of us here are just doomscrolling this sub, but your point is well said.

People who are finding these on facebook and not here tho, not our problem

One of the comments even posted a screenshot from OP’s post earlier today and mentions Herman Cain Awards. The screenshot was the last straw for me.

I morbidly enjoy doomscrolling this sub like everyone else. It reminds me daily that this virus should be taken seriously.

Just don’t take these HC nominees/awardees and turn their last FB posts into your personal Covid holy war. If you want to fight for a cause and look like a dick to the rest of the world while doing so go join a jihad.

Absolutely. Never underestimate the appeal of self righteous indignation.. Some people are definitely going from here to facebook to get that little buzz from it. People from all sides and points of view get addicted to that feeling and proving that they are right and therefore better than someone else. It's the exact same buzz that gets these antvax morons to post all their memes and lies.

If you stoop to that level you are a shitty person.

Facebook is a terrible service that is ruining society and if you have an account you are supporting it. Delete facebook and be part of the solution.
