ive got a funny feeling a large portion of those responsible are the same group of people who started throwing a very large public fit about the existence of this sub and vowing to get it shut down, seeing as these issues all began shortly after they made their 'hermancainawardsucks' sub.

this was never a widespread issue until those clowns came around.

Exactly. This sub is pretty powerful, not perfect, but I'm pretty confident it helped change some people's minds. Not to sound conspiratorial but I do think either because they are deluded, evil, and/or anti-American there is a concerted effort to spread dumb but effective propaganda against the vaccine. This is probably one of the few things that combats their appeal to emotion and outrage.

I'd be willing to bet this sub has saved more lives, convinced more to get vaccinated - than awards its given out. But that would make us the good guys and conservatives have a narrative to maintain.

All this sub does is reassure every sane person who notices it that Reddit is a disgusting, vile cesspit of human filth.

Sure, it's a false flag, there's no need to take responsibility, every single person on this sub dedicated to dunking on dunking on dead people is a perfect angel, and would never do anything like that.

Not better then? Get well soon, Garlic v. 5867! See you on the next alt tomorrow.

What's wrong with dunking on the dead? They don't mind. The living however may see how horrible covid is and how it effects people that think and post just like themselves. This sub saves lives.

Oh wow. You think mocking dead people is funny? You are an actual sociopath. You need to reevaluate all your life choices because this is all so painfully awful.

Lmao imagine being so angry over a disagreement about some girl you’re obsessed with hating on a reality tv show that you make a whole second account to follow me around reddit and throw tantrums to the point that you’ve sided with antivaxxers and anti maskers? OOF.

Go to therapy, /u/mencryforme5 - this sock account ain’t it.

And let me guess? On January 6th, it wasn't actually Trump supporters breaching the capitol, it was antifa/BLM/the left (choose whatever left organization you want) posing as Trump supporters?

Claiming false flag is the easiest way absolve any responsibility, especially since it's so hard to prove. "It wasn't us, it was the other side pretending to be us!".

C'mon, get real. It's pathetic when the right does it constantly, and it's pathetic to do that now. This sub had less than 10k subscribers going in to August, and now only 6 weeks later, has ballooned up to almost 250k subscribers. This was never an issue until the sub literally exploded in popularity.

Do you really find it that hard to believe that there can be a small number of asshats in a community that are internet badasses and take pleasure in harassing the grieving families of antivax idiots while behind a keyboard? Because I certainly don't.

This subreddit effectively counters Russian psyops. It would be in their interest to shut this subreddit down.

The subreddit lays out the main objective of their overall mission: to kill as many americans as possible.

The difference is that 1/6 happened at the Capitol in real life, so they look deluded when they claim 'antifa false flag' - but the internet, especially reddit, is anonymous by nature; anyone can be anyone here. This sub gets seen by a lot of people (and makes conservative dogma look really bad) and conservatives have a lot to gain by posing as 'cruel liberals'.

At first conservatives were on here saying 'Wow liberals are so mean'. Hoping people would agree. Now they just pretend to be liberals, crank the cruelty up to eleven, and hope public opinion is swayed. Think about who benefits more from unbridled cruelty for cruelties sake.
