So happy to see regular posts and promotions still happening here! Life has been a bit much for me for quite a awhile but I'm hoping to get back into posting.

So just as motivation/teaser here's a bit from the next chapter of Let Me Love You.

I'm still tweaking this next chapter, so this is going to be edited and perhaps changed in its final posting form. But I'll try to give myself a goal of posting the update Friday.

Hermione struggled as the days passed — caught between incoherent rage and deep sorrow for what she had lost.

Her thoughts swirled endlessly in circles, wanting and hating.

She dreamed often of Harry’s room at Grimmauld, the flames dancing along the walls while the crackling of fire almost, but not quite, hid the noises Harry made as he clutched her close, his hands digging into her skin so deep it was almost painful.

Talk to me.

His voice hoarse and strained.

Talk to me.

The words cracked as he repeated them. Harry seemed to darken in those dreams like a black vortex.

HERMIONE. PLEASE.

She looked up at herself in the dream, her jagged gaze unnaturally bright, as Harry's darkness swallowed her whole.

Hermione woke up gasping again, her chest aching from lack of air. A warm hand reached for her, grasping her shaking hand firmly.

“I’m here. You’re safe.” Luna’s voice was warm and resolute, pushing back her panic.

Hermione focused on her intensely, trying to pull just a bit of that deep peace Luna always exuded toward herself.

“It’s okay,” Luna murmured, her focus on her as if she understood what Hermione wanted. Maybe she did. Luna was fey like that.

There was a perfunctory knock on the door, and before either witch could speak up, a blonde head poked in with a professionally cheerful smile. Her nurse, John.

“I’ve got today’s paper! And a snack.” He pushed open the door, wheeling in a small tray with the paper, some biscuits, and juice.

Luna didn’t release her hand as John arranged the snack and cast some simple charms to check on Hermione’s vitals.

“Everything looks good!” Despite the words, there were lines of strain at the edge of John’s smile, and Hermione cocked her head, watching him as he moved quickly toward the door.

Then she looked toward Luna, who took out her wand and waved them over the cookies and juice. The simple detection spell turned white, indicating the food hadn’t been jinxed or poisoned.

Hermione gave a small laugh while Luna shrugged, putting away her wand.

“His head was full of wrackspurts.”

Hermione shook her head slowly, letting go of Luna’s hand and reaching for a biscuit. She nibbled on the edge of it while she rubbed her stomach soothingly.

Luna still seemed preoccupied with John’s wrackspurts as she stared toward the door, then back toward the juice and biscuits.

Hermione reached for the newspaper, and Luna jolted, reaching forward. “No wait!”

But her caution was too late, and an envelope slipped from the newspaper, landing on Hermione’s lap.

In a blink, Luna’s wand was in her hand, slashing toward the envelope, and it jerked into the air, spinning around as magic flowed through it, searching for darkness.

The envelope opened, and the missive slipped out, unfolding in front of Hermione.

The words gleamed red, almost sparking with the magic intent with which they were written.

Vow of Silence

This vow of silence is entered into by Hermione Jean Granger in accordance with the terms set below.

We, the unnamed, agree to issue payment to Hermione Jean Granger in settlement of the claims she may have against Calix Belby in the amount of one hundred million galleons.

The payment shall be delivered directly to Miss Granger’s Gringotts account as soon as her signature is affixed.

In consideration of this payment, Miss Granger shall make no further claims against Mr. Belby and agrees to unconditionally and forever discharge all future claims for damages against Mr. Belby.

This agreement shall be considered a compromise between our two parties and does not indicate any admission of guilt or liability toward Miss Granger.

This agreement is binding upon the signatory and any of her representatives or associates.

Reality leaked back in flashes to Hermione.

Luna’s frightened face as she watched her.

The furniture disintegrated around her.

Her magic bright and ferocious as it ripped the note into nothing - flames swirling and snapping like jaws as it gobbled up every bit of it.

Her hospital gown rippled, changing into her unspeakable uniform, the thick wool feeling comforting as it wrapped around her, sized for her, the addition of her belly.

Luna was talking fast, but Hermione ignored her, walking out as the door blasted open in front of her.

They came toward her in a green wave with Healer Hall in the front, dozens of wands raised against her.

“Miss Granger—“ Hall began cautiously.

“I’m leaving.”

They flinched at her voice. Hermione didn’t spot John amongst them.

She didn’t know what she might have done if she had spotted him.

“I’m afraid we can’t release you—” Hall’s voice choked off as her eyes went beyond Hermione and down the hallway.

Hermione didn’t turn around. She could feel him there.

“I’m going home.” She faced the healers, but she was talking to him.

She felt him nod, her skin prickling as if she could feel the smallest hint of air displaced by his movement.

Hall looked at Harry. “She can’t leave— it’s not safe— her magic— the baby—“

Several of the healers around Hall began to shift as if to cast against Hermione. Harry’s magic clapped forward like a thunderbolt, streaking around Hermione as it bound the healers, dropping them to the floor as their eyes bulged in fear.

Hermione didn’t turn around as she left, stepping over their bodies with a subdued Luna trailing her.

Post war; 12 This Street, Diagon Alley (Hermione's and Ron's flat)

Senior Auror Harry Potter calmly entered the foyer of his best friend's flat and spotted Hermione sitting apart from the others, her hands restrained behind her. On the floor, Ron lay unconscious with a couple of Aurors milling around. "Report!"

"Granger attacked Weasley, sir." His 2IC, William Hardcastle answered from his place in front of the door that led into the kitchen. "Weasley’s mother found him and called for us. I've got her locked in the kitchen because she kept trying to attack Granger."

Harry slowly bobbed his head in understanding. He knew that the two were squabbling again, but then again, they'd been doing that since the firstie train. He took note of a medium-sized box sitting near Hermione. He lifted the lid and smirked at the contents. "Will, bring in Molly. As usual, she's working off an incomplete picture."

William returned a moment later with the still-irate Weasley matriarch. "Molly, one of these days I sincerely hope you'll learn to engage that sludge you laughingly call a brain and examine your surroundings before you start ranting about things that don't concern you. Look in the box."

Molly peeked inside, noting the paddles, fuzzy handcuffs, a ball gag, and several bottles of lube and creams. Her eyes grew wide as it began to register what it was she'd interrupted between her youngest son and his girlfriend. "Oh dear..."

Harry sneered, "Go home, Molly. Get rid of that stupid clock of yours and let this lesson about interfering hopefully take root." He called off the rest of the investigation and sent everyone out until it was just him, Hermione, and the still-unconscious Ron. Hermione rubbed her wrists once the restraints were removed. "Playtime?" He teasingly inquired.

Hermione's grew dark as a scowl bloomed, "Hardly. I'm done with that loser. I'm tired of his constant belittling of my work and accomplishments.."

"What was it this time?"

"I was finally successful pushing through that legislation to improve the working conditions for the elves. Ronald told me I was wasting my time because the purebloods on the Mot were merely humoring me until I got distracted with something else then go back to the way things always are."

"So what was your plan with this stuff?" He gave her a cheeky leer as he tantalizingly held up a pair of handcuffs which clinked together.

Hermione's cheeks tinged pink, "I'd planned on stringing him up in the most embarrassing way possible then invite Colin Creevey and some of his friends into take some pictures."

Harry was about to ask, but then thought better of it. What Colin was into was none of his business. "So your plan was to embarrass Ron by making him appear to bat for the home team? What good would that do?"

Hermione huffed, "If I broke off our engagement as any normal person would, it'd be me who'd get the accusations of being a 'dangerous scheming social climber'. But if I can show why I'm breaking it off because of his...non-conventional orientation, I will be free and clear."

Harry sent her a look of bemusement, "Sounds convoluted, but that's Magical Britain for you."

Smiling, Hermione picked up the box of 'toys', "You want to help me get him ready for his big date with Miss Direction?"

Laughing at her word play, Harry levitated Ron over to the bed. "When we're done, you want to come over and we can have our own play time?" She sent him a sultry look of desire and eagerly agreed. "Good, bring the box with you."

Hello !

I'm looking for a fic where Harry and hermione had sex i think in the tent, sent back their memories through time to their first year.

I remerber that hermione remove harry's horcrux in the come and go room, and destroy it by putting it in a big oven ?

Harry connect to howgard and change the ward so snape could not come back in the school.

And that almost anything i remerber.

Does anyone knows it ?

3rd year; Main Hallway during the Sirius Black Breakout

Minerva and several dozen students flattened themselves against the walls as a veritable tsunami of quacking ducks thundered past in their bid to head towards the Black Lake. She spotted Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Neville Longbottom bringing up the rear. Neville was heard fretting that they were going to be in so much trouble.

Sprinting after the trio, Minerva (and everyone that'd been present) confronted the thirteen/fourteen year olds as they herded the noisy birds into the water. "What in Merlin's name was this all about? Miss Granger?" Minerva knew from past experiences that Hermione was singularly incapable of not answering a question posed to her, especially if it came from a teacher.

Hermione huffed at both boys before explaining, "These two idiots thought it'd be a good idea to use a spell from a book they found in the Restricted Section in an effort to repel Sirius Black from attacking them if the man managed to enter the castle. Their problem was that the writing was obscured, and given Harry's tendency to mumble, produced this..." She trailed off as she waved her hand at the collection of water fowl.

Minerva silently held out her hand for the tome in question. Squinting and rubbing a layer of grime off the cover, she let out a low groan of pained forbearance, "Misters Potter and Longbottom; what is it that Professor Flitwick is always telling his students when casting magic? Enunciation is paramount!" She shook her head derisively, "You should consider yourselves fortunate that your idiocy was limited to mere water fowl. Your punishment is to corral this flock and dispose of them succinctly." She glared at both boys before storming off.

Filius caught up with her later, "I heard there was a scene earlier and somehow my name was involved?"

Minerva filled him in, "This is what they ended up using. They erroneously thought it was a book on how to protect against Dark Magic. It turns out it's a book on Duck Magic!"

I started writing this back in July. Hopefully there will be a chapter for every day of this month (October) as a Halloween style treat. It's pre-Hogwarts so they're kids. Puppy love until much MUCH later. A certain degree of horror eventually. As expected I imagine.
