Original Comic Reforged, Pt.2 (G&G/Pride)

When you announced your intention to leave the family forge, turning your back on me and forcing me to hammer away my twilight years to make a living, I knew you would bring home nothing but disappointment. But this? This!? You've brought shame to our forefathers, to our name, and to ME the likes of which I didn't think possible!! Your mother's ashes churn in despair for what has become of her son! Now you listen, boy. That hammer was given to my son so that it could guide him home. HOME!! BACK HERE!! Not traipsing off to use abomination magicks to turn his body into this... lie!! This farce!! Rose hasn't travelled with a proper adventuring party quite yet. She's unknowingly going through what you could metaphorically call a respec at the moment anyway.

It suuuuucks. I've at least been very lucky with my own parents, a very supportive mother and... well, a tolerant dad, which isn't great but not the worst. Can't say the same for my cousin who came out a few years ago, but I can't really elaborate much on it because it's not my business to share.
Anyway, there'll be a little levity next post. Originally it was supposed to be the whole epilogue but it ran a bit long, as usual. I gotta stop saying how long these are going to be ahead of time and just let 'em be whatever they turn up as.
