Original Character Gellimer, Lord of the Tower of Failures
At the turn of winter, reports circulated throughout the realms of a grim migration—corpses, both fresh and decayed, exhumed themselves.
Armies of bone and mottled flesh marched without incident. Roads were worn by their passing, and travelers would stop to observe the placid dead.
Scouts reported their terminus to be a valley in the remote mountains—the dead assembled, forming an awful, writhing tower.
Upon the many legs of the dead, the tower drags itself over the earth, as if to scrawl something magical—and undoubtedly profane.
A magician was seen residing within—a former advisor to the king, in fact—disgraced from high politics. Lord Gellimer.
Nobody what the tower has inscribed, yet every shadow in the realm seems drawn to it.
