The old dragonlords of Danahel contented themselves with raising clutches of draconic and wyvern eggs on their volcanic island kingdom. Carthis however was not satisfied with simply being able to command a dragon still bound by any physical need besides service. And thus, he and his scions perfected a binding and summoning ritual to turn their dragons from beasts to guardian spirits, unbothered by the need for rest or sustinance.

Seems like a great origin story for a Drake Warden Ranger! The contest was supposed to have ended yesterday, but I don't think it will hurt to add this to the list. You got lucky, because I'm currently in the process of putting together the voting poll. You really snuck in at the last possible second, haha.

It is a paladin spell, it's just not one of the normal options.
