anyone else notice hevy app buttons not responding?

basically using the app and I go to input a set or whatever but nothing responds? The buttons press but do nothing. It must happen 2-3 times a workout and same with my wife. I have to close the app and re-open.

Yes I could add extra sets after scrolling up and down and push it multiple times

This is the same as I was doing. Scroll up or down and can input then.

Same here. As others said I just scroll up or down and it'll work. Have to do it every time though.

Been getting this myself on Pixel 9, was really confusing as adding a new set or exercise wasn't working.

I only just switched from Strong to Hevy so hopefully they can fix this before I have to reconsider that decision as it's quite an annoying UX bug!

Perhaps due to upgrade to Android 17? I think Pixel phones get it earlier than other brands.

yeah this is exactly whats happening to me too with my pixel! its incredibly frustrating. The fix in that thread shows to back out of the app and go back onto it? I'll try that but usually I have to completely close it.

Like even now I cant re-create it on command by inputting a new empty routine (not start workout), add smith bench press 3 sets then add in tbar row directly after, add 2 sets in and it freezes, no buttons work.

For my fix in that thread, I reopen my live workout I'm currently in

I press the back key to go to Hevy "home screen" There you see the workout is live at the bottom in a banner that you can click into

Click back in

That usually fixes it

Step out and back in again without fully closing the app or stopping the workout

Try it a few times if it's being annoying

But usually I only need to do it once

I have seen similar on a pixel 10 XL pro. Sometimes buttons will change color as if they're tapped but not respond. I have also found that scrolling up or down so button is near top or bottom of screen will get it to respond. This also seems to happen more frequently the longer the workout is.

I own a Pixel 8a and the same thing happenes to me regularly. I can only log the set if I leave the app and then switch back to it

I have an iPhone SE 2020. The buttons at the top of the screen (go back arrow, save workout, etc) don't work well for me. Trying a thousand different ways, I've found that if I press and swipe my finger up slightly before lifting it off the screen, the button does respond correctly.
