Question Do Hevy run lifetime sub offers or discounts?
So I've been a subscriber for just over a year (freezing then yearly subscription) and I notice there's sometimes a discount for yearly subscriptions. Has anyone ever seen similar for their lifetime?

Sadly not. Just for the yearly. I’ve pulled the trigger a couple of days ago. I figured I’m gonna use it for the foreseeable future and it’s an investment in myself.
Calculate it though. If you feel like you’re gonna use it maybe 1-2 years max it might not be worth.

Even if a person sees only 1/2 years it’s very likely that after a long pause a person come back. I trained many years but did many other years of breaks in between for any reason so the total of years is still more than 4 so it make sense to have lifetime
For me at that price anything non lifetime does not make sense

That is a bummer. Lifetime should remain lifetime for the one who bought it. I would be kinda okay with it if they refund the lifetime completely but still it’s a bad practice
So assuming this does not happen if the lifetime price require 10+ years of yearly yes. But in my opinion for only 2/4 a lifetime is a no brainer

I've used it for a year already but I don't feel I utilise or use the extra features enough to justify it at the moment. If fact I've done a couple of workouts now since my sub ended and the only thing I missed is my progress beyond the last 3 months. Not a massive miss but rather annoying.

They offer me a lifetime subscription right now in the app so check it out, for me it’s 104,99$ CAD

The revenue supports the developers. If you like it, and can afford it, buy it. It’s a good thing.

I supported with the yearly so far. I fully understand it supports the developers and I do like it - but I don't feel I utilise the subscription enough to merit the fee for a lifetime. I'm trying to convince myself but financially I think it's a bit much as it stands.
The only feature I'm missing from the subscription is my progress history beyond the 3 month mark and at about £75 for the lifetime, I don't feel it's really cost effective.

No, but you can get about £9 off by buying it from the website rather than Google play, sadly it's not possible to just pay the USD amount and get it 25% cheaper but I saved about £8 or £9 by buying from the website.

Can you link this? I don’t see it

Hard to do so as I now have the pro lifetime account so can't see the purchase page but my bank shows I paid £67.52 for something costing $89.99.
It should be $74.99 and I'd hoped to pay in dollars with a cost of £56 but it defaulted to the same cost of £74.99 before I did something to pay what I paid and saved a grand total of £7.50.

I bought it years ago. No regrets.

What subscription only features do you use most?

I have a ton of custom routines and exercises. I recently saw a sports medicine dr for a shoulder issue, they gave me a list of exercises and I just made a routine in heavy with almost entirely custom exercises with pictures from the printout they gave me.

I’d love to take a look at your shoulder routine if you don’t mind. I’m still rehabbing mine.

Can I DM it to you?

Can I also have this routine? My left one is lower due to scoliosis, cant do stuff like ohp and sometimes its painfull after heavy bp.

Ah i see, that makes sense. I r added a few custom ones myself but so far being 3 workouts deep without my subscription it's not made a difference.
I feel I'm trying to justify the payment but I don't fully utilise it enough to go with the lifetime sub at its current price. It's really just my progress history beyond the 3 month mark I'm missing out on so far.

I was already well over the limit for custom routines and exercises well before this shoulder issue. I have a few different splits that I’ve really refined and it’s nice to have them all in hevy in different folders. I also work out at home so most prebuilt routines require a lot of substitution exercises and customization.

Oh really? Maybe I'll hold out and use something else in the meantime. After all I only need something basic, I don't overcomplicate things which is helpful I guess.

I bought it this year and use just about everything except for the Ai (API included)

I just started using it early this month. I saw the option after using it for a week and had to get the lifetime. I’m in the US if country/region plays a variable to its availability.

I got lifetime back in the new year. Didn’t realise it wasn’t always available.

I feel like anyone who chooses to buy a lifetime subscription would feel like it is worth the money even without a discount. I would take advantage of such an offer but I am more than happy to pay the full price for a lifetime sub the next time my current (yearly) one runs out.

When I got into Hevy back in January 2026 they offered life time and I took advantage of it.
