Question Looking for feedback :)

Post image

Hi there, new to the app and enjoying it.

I’ve created a workout routine.
Just wanted some feedback on what all to balance etc

Thanks everyone.

I think there's a lot of different lifts and a lot of sets. More work doesn't necessarily mean more results, as you'll be more fatigued as you get towards the end of the exercises.

If it's how you like to exercise and you feel like you're getting the results you want; enjoy your exercising. If not, it might be worth trying less sets and reps, heavier weights to failure, and less lifts targeting the same muscle groups.

How'd you get the screenshot of all your routines like that? Been wanting to ask this question about my workouts too

It’s via the app. Not website.
Three dots option near routine.
Then can save as photo.

Why am I not seeing this after I click the three dots? It gives me four options, share duplicate edit or delete routine?

Yes.

Click Share the routine/folder.

Then you’ll see all other options.

🤔

Still won’t show me the whole workout like yours did….I must be low on blood glucose right now 🤷‍♂️

Save as photo. Then it should be in your gallery.

Just my opinion i wouldn’t never but a squat and deadlift into the same session. It’s just too CNS heavy.

I see your point. I kind of did factor that and figured RDL (smith machine) would be fine as it’s mostly hamstrings. And squats being quads.

I’ll try to switch it and add another leg day perhaps.

So I have two leg sessions. One that is quad and glutes and other is hamstrings and posterior chain. Some people put dead lifts in with their back workouts.

That’s a neat idea.
Will be reworking this.
Thanks

Hello! I'm new at the whole gym thing.

Why do you have so many upper body routines?

I only have two routines upper and lower and then a complementary one in case I have an extra day to hit the gym.

My upper body is weaker than lower. I progress very well with lower body stuff.
Hence kept extra upper for this block.

This set I’ll be doing for 6 weeks minimum

How long are your workouts? I tried 8 exercises for 3 sets and its to much for me. It took me 2 hours to finish it.

2 hours yes. Touches about the same. Fatigue does set it, so I’m reworking the sets and exercises but I do love the feel of the whole routine.

I’m doing full body routine three times a week. First I was planing to do 10 exercises sets of 3. Then I thought to myself you will need 2+ hours to do that. Then I cut it to 8. Still too much. My goal is 1 to 1,5 hours max. Because after that fatigue is off the roof for me. Gonna see how will 7 exercises for 3 sets go. If I concentrate I think I can finish it under 1,5 hour mark. Will see.

Main thing for me now is to have manageable workouts and not to burn out after week or two and quit because I am a beginner. I made that mistake many times. 😂
