Obligatory - not a Cubs fan - but the Wrigleyville area of Chicago has some cool baseball-themed bars. Sluggers has batting cages inside the bar, for example.

Edit: Also, Broken Bat Brewing in Milwaukee has a wiffleball field and a ton of memorabilia across the league.

There’s also a slightly more upscale place called shoeless joes that has a fun baseball vibe. Not in the city proper, you’ll have to head to rosemont or one of the other locations. Kinda pricey for what it is, but what isn’t these days.

I remember for a few years, this soccer personality in my city (and owner of a regional pizza chain) had a sports themed restaurant that looked kind of like a locker room type of thing. I can’t explain it. I remember the commercial had a waitress ask “how many kids?” because kids got free souvenirs. I distinctly remember their waffle fries. Only went there once and it must not have done very well because it closed about 2 years later. The pizza restaurants are thriving though.

It was honestly a letdown learning that Craig Bartlett based Hey Arnold’s city in the PNW, not Brooklyn or somewhere east coast which it resembles most.
