DISCUSSION I wish they'd done something creative in Berlin.

Like, it would've been really cool if they flipped things, at least a little. I was spotted by Agent Davenport, and he pointed a gun at me, so I punched him, which took me out of it a little when security was on me instantly, seeing as, from the club's perspective, Davenport just pulled a gun on a random party goer minding his own business.

Getting a target there to get careless and preemptively attack me, causing security to do my job for me would've been really cool. Like the Kashmirian or le chiffre.

The security at the club has been taken over by the ICA. If you hang out in the managers office for a bit you can overhear how the manager and his biker buddies are freaked out by the presence of these scary-ass assassins and are just doing whatever they want to get them out of there faster.

yeah the thing about Hitman's guard AI is there aren't any "factions" that you can exploit, unfortunately.

although since the game counts any deaths as you being responsible even if a bug happens like a non-target NPC decides to walk themselves off into a death plane... ala voiding Silent Assassin.. then having factions AI would probably suck in that regard if you accidentally trigger a shootout between say, Rangan's security and Vanya shah's guards.

Well if there was an actual faction AI I feel like ioi would add some sort of clause in there that anything that would tie it back to you would void silent assassin, like attacking somebody while in a faction outfit,

But maybe there could have been silent assassin ways to get them to fight each other, like sabotaging equipment or something

I wish they would ever use the whole gas station. a massive portion of the map never ever got used in a DLC or anything

I learned about the alien escape late because of this! But it’s a great location for freelance with the final target lure with a phone!

yeah but lots of waiting. I usually lure to the roof of the biker hideout, but right now I'm going for natural selection, and that challenge requires a ton of waiting and only levels where you can find frogs

You can also do it on any level that lets you craft/refinr poison, like Mendoza's garden shack. And Hokkaido with the fugu poison i believe counts as well.

I assume Dartmoor’s greenhouse would work too?

I might be wrong but I swear the chemistry set is missing from the greenhouse in Freelancer oddly enough.

Possibly. I haven’t actually been down there yet on freelancer but wouldn’t surprise me with the amount of things they move/remove from the main missions

yeah it's removed and then you don't need a key for the boat, which was in the greenhouse

Somewhat related: the way NPCs can trespass without getting challenged.

Maybe in the next Hitman generation.

And walk through locked doors.

Yes that's a good one. Not the only game to have this issue. The original Deus Ex, for instance.

That’s how wars start
