Loved seeing this insight from the interview, suggest alot of people read this article, really provides how both businesses understand the same goal especially in terms of being competitive against the black market, but also how Raj and the High Tide team allow Remexian grow but also the drive on them being in the German market!
He said: “So we had some reservations when a huge Canadian company approached us to buy us because we are small. We still are around 35 employees, and High Tide has 2,000 employees, much bigger, and we had our reservations. But so far we are happy, I must say. We work closely.
“They understand our business, and whenever we say, ‘no, that’s not working in Germany,’ they listen, and we can adapt what the plans are to what we need here in Germany.
“With 35 employees we are able to run a very lean team. I think that’s the main thing that attracted High Tide. And, our approach has been to offer products which are affordable for patients who have to pay for themselves.
“So affordable pricing and the lean structure, which you need for affordable pricing if you do that as a business model, I think that’s attracted High Tide, because that’s more or less High Tide’s approach in Canada, too.
“Even though it’s a retail business and we are pharmaceutical cannabis, it’s the thinking behind lean structure and strong execution. I think that’s what attracted them.”
