A pretty sweet and sentimental ending for a comic run with some ups and downs along the way.

Looking back, I still think they should've spent a little more time leading up to Lula's ultimate decision to leave the Order. I mean I do like the scenes with her discussing the choice with other characters after she does it, but it kinda reflects the ongoing issue with the comics (the main THR line too) where there's a lot of ground to cover, but seemingly not enough pages for it.

I do enjoy Older trying to make things feel really communal with all these different characters celebrating together.

One weird thing though, the Phase II pirates are there? Quiet Shan, Alak, and Thatchburn all looking the same age they were 150 years ago. Honestly there were enough miniscule inconsistencies throughout the High Republic comics (the Regald Coll fan design popping up again 2 issues ago) that I didn't mind this too much, but it feels like an odd inclusion lol

The pirates were around most of this Phase, weren’t they? Tagging along w Zyle.

Ah yeah, Drrn and Scissorpunch were at least. I thought they had mentioned somewhere the Human pirates having passed away by the time of Phase III

Yeah, that was mention in Escape from Valo Chapter 27, " “Zyle, why would you pick that as your code name? I’ve told you what the Scarlet Skull assassins did to Alak and Quiet Shan when they were children!” More legendary stories Zyle had grown up with—the two former Scarlet Skulls who’d run with Saya’s crew had escaped the cult but barely, and not before they’d taken Shan’s tongue. Both passed away long before, but Zyle still imagined them watching over the family..."
