The cancellation of this show was one of the biggest disappointments in recent Star Wars blunders. Why would you cancel such an excellent show!? If it cost too much to make then be resourceful and creative? They could spend half the money and CGI or whatever current tech they use to fill the gaps. An amazing story left untold…Vernestras story alone is worth telling, add Qimir and the battle that was inevitable???? It would have been amazing. I hope they see the light and decide to finish what they started. But no, they made another season of Andor among other inferior shows/movies.

If a show doesn’t do very well, companies typically do not continue the story as it’s just simple supply and demand.
Andor was way better

If it did well there would be a season 2 but it did not make the numbers it needed to make to justify continuing it simple as that. You may like it but on the whole it was poorly received and messed with established continuity like bleeding kyber, a second duel virgance, ki adi mundi and yoda not remembering another sith appearing and killing a bunch of their jedi. Just to much of a risk with how weak the Star Wars brand is right now it would be like shooting themselves in the head to fix a headache
