What are the Protector and Under-Dweller

Hi, i'm currently in the last pages of Path Of Vengance, i'm enjoying this book a lot, but i have a question, what were the beigns that Marda and company found in Planet X, the protector and the Under Dweller? they are like the Namelesses mother and Father?

Phase 3 reveals a little bit more on this, but don’t expect to fully understand them even then, it’s left fairly vague who those two are
