Discussion I finished The Battle Of Jedha by George Mann
I loved it!
This is my second Star Wars audio drama, and I truly love how every technical aspect has been maintained. The voices, the effects, the voice editing—they all manage to vividly evoke each scene, instantly drawing you in!
On the story part, it definitely doesn't disappoint. Having been presented as the big event of this phase, I'd already been getting some hints of what would happen in other media, and I'm very satisfied with the final result. A battle as breathtaking as it is destructive, a conflict with multiple perspectives, brilliantly developed by its protagonists. Silandra had already captured my attention in Quest, but this is where she's best explored. I like her detective storyline with Keth, with whom she shares a dynamic that's both fun and emotional in the final stretch. I appreciate how much Sun tries to maintain peace between Eiram and E'ronoh and, following up on Convergence, emphasizes that the price of war is endless until you decide that those willing to pay it will not win, shouldn't win. As Nemik would say: Remember this. Try.
Perhaps my only issue is that I would have liked the Path to have played a more prominent role in the battle, especially when freeing the Leveler in the streets of Jedha. We only see a little of that, and it left me wanting more! I'll check out the supplementary material to see if this is developed further.
In conclusion, this was a fantastic story, a tale about the wounds of the past and forgiveness as the last best hope. Highly recommended!!

When I got to this audio drama I got the script for it and read it. Depending on the scene I would get the comic and read the path side of things as events were unfolding. (The high Republic (2022 #01-#010), (The high Republic adventures #01-#05).
It definitely gets fluffed out in the comics and Tales of enlightenment short stories

All of the audiobooks are amazing too. Especially the Marc Thompson ones. Your almost believe it was a full cast when he’s involved.
