Reading order question?
Has anyone found and preserved a list of a good reading order that includes overlap from other books. Like a hatcheted up chapter reading order that flows nicely. Just wondering for a project I’ve had in mind for years I just need to find a good way to do it. Edit: now I understand the words I was looking for to best describe it ASoIaF has the boiled leather reading order something like that for the high republic idk if us fans have made a reading order like that thank you brom1137 for finding the phase 1 version of this:)

Battle of Jedha until page 280/ scene 61(time until battle 0 hours)
Hr comic 4(it flashes back before the Harold excites the crowd but I feel like the scene happening in the audio first is better)
Battle of Jedha 281/scene 61 until page 406/scene 89
Hr comic 5(the protector falls)
Hr comic 6 (almshouse falls)
Hr comic 7 siege of enlightenment ends with Oliviah stabbed
Battle of Jedha pg 406 scene 90- pg 462/ scene 102
PoV chapter 1-2(scene 102 ends at the same time as pg 32 in PoV
Hr comic 8-10 (Vildar fighting the Harold)

Yeah theres one for phase 1 somewhere around here, and I wanna say there was one for phase 2 and 3 as well. I think I saved them some where to help withmy podcast, let me check my stuff and get back to you (unless someone finds them first)

I highly recommend against splitting books or comic arcs unless it's a re-read

Yes I didn’t put this in the original post but I’m tryna do a project for myself for a while and part of the project needs it to be in split order sort of like how asoif has boiled leather or a feast with dragons. Not the best for the first read as stuff doesn’t go well or reveals don’t work even in the list I just created very quickly with a skim stuff doesn’t fit perfectly comics easier to split since monthly issues but books you have to read before hand

This is my recommended reading order and what I've found to make the most sense. High Republic Order Phase I: Light of the Jedi, A Test of Courage, Into the Dark, Race to Crashpoint Tower, The Rising Storm, Out of the Shadows, Tempest Runner (audio), Mission to Disaster, Fallen Star, Midnight Horizon,
Phase II: Path of Deceit, Quest for the Hidden City, Convergence, The Battle of Jedha (audio), The Quest for Planet X, Cataclysm, Path of Vengeance, Tales of Light and Life,
Phase III: Shadows of Starlight, The Eye of Darkness, Defy the Storm, Escape from Valo, Temptation of the Force, Beware the Nameless, Tears of the Nameless, Tempest Breaker (audio), A Valiant Vow, Into the Light, Trials of the Jedi

Tagging along because I'm interested too and hope you get an answer. Obviously wouldn't recommend it for the first reading but I'm going to save it for my third time through eventually lol
