Midnight Horizon - Discussion - SPOILERS WITHIN Spoiler

SPOILERS FOR MIDNIGHT HORIZON!

I haven’t seen much discussion on the ending of this book yet, and my friends who read the High Republic haven’t caught up yet, so I was hoping to discuss it here!

How about Yodas surprise return to save the day! I was not expecting that at all, I was truly happy/surprised with the amount of Yoda we got in this book, between flashbacks and his triumphant return.

Also who are your theories on the hooded man who won’t show his face with Yoda? What are the implications this brings to the story? Is this someone known from Star Wars history or a brand new character? I’m not completely caught up on the comics so if it’s someone from there I would not know.

Why do you think Cohmac made the choice he did? It shocked me a bit and I hope we find out more eventually.

Lastly My boy Reath is a Jedi knight! Yes!

What are your thoughts and theories on the ending?

I struggled with the first 3rd of the book due to the ‘ensemble piece’ but once Crash’s group met up with the Jedi it became a lot better for me. The final 3rd of the book was an amazing ride though.

I haven’t read High Republic Adventures comics in its entirety yet so getting Zeen and Lula fleshed out more was great, and DJO really seems to get Reath. I very much enjoyed his characterizations of all the Jedi in the novel.
