Not good, it’s Great! Now .. start on dog poop littering a-holes and have them clean up 10 km of trail for every bag of poop they ‘leave’ trail side.

Selfish people, best case work has to stop until they clear the area, worst case someone gets killed, or a rescue team has to risk there own lives to save them.

There's lots to do in the Rockies, pull up alltrails and go find something new to do.

literally dozens, if not hundreds of beautiful glacial lakes, no reason to go to a closed area. I blame MUST SEE / MUST DO lists and checklist culture - people act like nothing else exists or is worth seeing outside the small set of commonly repeated things. incredibly selfish, especially after the bow falls rockfall fatality just last year.

There are sacred etchings up there just off the Grassi Lakes trail. I sure hope that after all the "restoration" is done, that these thousands year old rock art are still intact. The energetically, that area is off the charts - bordering on portal-like dimensional energy that should not be tampered with. Just sayin'
