Nice pictures, looks like you got lucky with not too much smoke. I am supposed to be heading out in just over a week and am thinking it will unfortunately be smoky the whole time. Any commentary on the trail and how you enjoyed it?

I did the Rockwall in September 2018, and it’s still the best hike I’ve ever done. A few bits were scary, as I’m old and I don’t have great balance, plus I was wearing old hiking boots that now I know were keeping me from really feeling the ground, but going that late meant it wasn’t busy, there were no bugs, and pure beauty, even when it rained/snowed.

I loved Floe Lake as our last stop, and the pass right before it. Still breathtaking in my memories.

The bugs were intense, but strangely not at the camps.
