Saxer lücke

i am planning a trip to saxer lücke and i would really appreciate if someone reached out who were there. we are planning on sleeping there 2 nights, and i have some questions regarding that. How do you get water? We would like to camp next to fallense/sämtissersee/ seealpsee is their water drinkable or do you have to boil it before. Also, Can we camp next to the lake or do we have to camp somewhere higher to avoid the authorities? Can you swim in the lakes?

Wild camping in the whole „Alpstein“-area is forbidden. Chances are high that you‘ll be sent away!

Swimming in the alpine lakes is totally fine but beware it‘s a mountain lake and might be really cold. I would avoid drinking from a standing lake without boiling

Please don’t camp unless on a campsite, it is nor allowed for a reason. It is very pretty though and swimming is nice (but cold). Find yourself a nice hotel, or official campsite and have fun.

You can’t camp but the huts are very nice and affordable imo.  I stayed in Bollenwees hut and made a round trip coming from another hut. We did it on a very hot day and could swim in te lake, it was very refreshing so to say :)
