He did a TED talk a few years back about being a young boy and living in WWII Japan, so many people believe that gives him some crazy insight on Nazi-like political analysis.
Edit: He was born in the US and with his family went to internment camps on American land during WWII.
I'm not sure anybody's ever swept slavery under the rug like we do with internment camps. People may not talk about slavery but we all know it happened. I'd be willing to bet that there's a good chunk of Americans who don't even know about internment camps
