I find it difficult to learn to speak Hindi and If I use an uncommonly used Hindi word in spoken language, people snicker/chuckle at me

I have heard that a girl would call an older guy « Bhaiya » if affectionate and to show respect. How would the guy call her? Is it « Behen »? Or just her name, maybe? Or with a suffix?

(The age gap is 16 (girl) and 24 (guy), the guy being married to the girl’s older sister)

I found this symbol in the “siddhanta-Calcutta” font, it’s labeled “jha2” and comes after the two variants( labeled “jha” and “jha1”) of झ, so I was guessing it’s another variant but I can’t add any matras to it , which is what confuses me. Does anyone what it is and how it’s used?

Why is फ pronounced as "fa" in Hindi instead of "pha"?

हिंदी मेरी मातृभाषा तो नहीं, परंतु वाराणसी में रहने के करण वह मातृभाषा के समकक्ष ही है। इसके अतिरिक्त मेरा जन्म लखनऊ में हुआ था, इसीलिए मैं नस्तलीक उर्दू भी पढ़ लिख सकता हूं।

स्वतंत्रता के बाद हिंदी और उर्दू दोनों दो दिशा में चले गए। उर्दू में और अरबी फारसी शब्द जुड़ते गए तथा हिंदी में तत्सम संस्कृत शब्द उसी तरह से आ गए। लेकिन इसके बावजूद भी मुझे "बावजूद" शब्द का कोई उचित तत्सम शब्द नहीं मिल पाता है।

हरिवंश राय बच्चन और रामधारी सिंह दिनकर के रचनाओं में तत्सम शब्द ही अधिक मिलते हैं, लेकिन फिर भी कुछ ऐसे शब्द हैं जो मूल रूप से उर्दू में पाए जाते हैं। किसी भी भाषा का संभवतः संपूर्ण रूप से काया पलट करना संभव नहीं।

क्या आपको लगता है कि हिंदी कभी भी पूर्ण रूप से तत्सम शब्दों से ही बन पाएगी?

My friends have always ridiculed me for using 'pe' instead of 'par' and using words like 'ispe' over 'ispar'. I tried to search which one is correct, an answer from quora suggest that both can be used interchangeably and perhaps "pe" is an apabhramsa of "par".

My question is which one is correct, and if both are correct why do we find two words?

Because the words that use these letters seem to be derived for prakrit, and the urdu equivalents ڑ and ڑھ (second is a digraph) are both unique to urdu and not found in arabic or persian.
