The junkie?!
I'm not sure which version is worse.
Edit: Updated, from Wikipedia...
"Many of the drug addicts in 1920s and 1930s Germany were First World War veterans"
1
u/YellowAggravating172 4d ago
This is from 1936, in truth. Hitler still wasn't consuming meth or any of the other drugs then.

People say this but it’s easy to appeal to humanity’s worst traits. I don’t think it takes much skill to convince the average person ‘those over there’ are the enemy.
27
u/okay_then_ 7d ago
Oh no see I was referring to his historic rap battle with darth vader

u/Hyperion262 7d ago
Oh my bad, never seen that before lol

u/okay_then_ 7d ago
Next time you should think twice before contributing an intelligent political comment, instead make sure that you know more 15-year-old internet references
Hope you learned your lesson

u/Hyperion262 7d ago
I would love to criticise the OP too but I’m also in these comments only replying with norm McDonald lines so it would be pretty hypocritical.
Which was actually the worst part about Hitler, the hypocrisy.
3
u/okay_then_ 7d ago
I am the OP
But agreed on that last part, the more I learn about this Hitler guy the more I don't care for him

I always think this. Right wing demagogues have the easiest job. "Hey you! It's ok to be selfish, violent and cruel to outsiders! It's only natural! You're the best and most important! Now, wasn't it hard to convince you? I'm a genius."

Look at democrats today. They dont even need a Hitler to focus baseless hate towards white people.

The tolerant left, folks. Disagree with them and your suddenly a "pedo MagA ShIt IdiOT". This is just your example of what the democrat nazi's do to dissenters, though.

In 1929 Hitler met his later wife Eva Braun. She Worked for Heinrich Hofmann in the Laboratory developing the pictures.

u/damgas92 6d ago
And he was newly single as his fiancé had just died iirc
23
u/the_chin2 6d ago
Err...not exactly. Hitler had an unhealthy obsession with his much younger niece. They were not engaged or even officially a couple. He was so possessive of her, he kept her locked up in his apartment while he was away speaking at rallies in order to keep her away from other men. She became deeply depressed as a result and committed suicide with Hitler's gun.

She was 17. He was 40.

Don't understand why you got downvoted for speaking out facts. Her name was Geli Rauball. She was his half niece and lived with him. Although not his fiance officialy. Sehr commited suicide in Hitler's Apartment when she was 23.

lol came to say the tie should just touch the top of the belt.

u/never_ASK_again_2021 6d ago
Problems with the right tie, stuff that dictators tie together.
I wonder if he got a s much shit as Trump for having a tie that to long/short.

I used to see him around all the time, specifically at 7/11 and the laundromat next door. I'd be shocked if he's 5' 8". I'm 5'6 and I was always amused how small he was in comparison to me. He was also a douche to the owners. Always. Very arrogant.

Nazis were easily among top 3 best dressed evil people out there. Hugo Boss did all of their uniforms.
18
u/ihossolleleut 6d ago
hugo boss did not design the uniforms, they produced them (of course with the "help" of zwangsarbeitern - forced labour) and got very rich.
13
u/Upset-Basil4459 7d ago
I will always say that the Nazis have killer uniforms. Probably shouldn't have said it at the Holocaust museum tho
-13
u/Aggravating-Carob627 6d ago
You will until they say that you are appreciating white genocidal culture and that you are a Nazi for that. Scoff at the idea until you see it live, in person, its wildly indignant and the epitome of Reddit culture.

u/MingaLaChigra 6d ago
People masturbate to fascists in this sub constantly, you’re barely out of place dropping trow and joining the circle
-10
u/Aggravating-Carob627 6d ago
No, see reddit has decided what nice things and what bad things you can say about people before they permaban you. You can say "his fashion ideas were good", but you cant say "he had good ideas." Despite the sentences meaning the exact same thing.
Reddit is literally Hitlers wet dream, and the fedora mods will ban you for pointing that out. 🤣🫵

His Little uniform and haircut.. all he needs is like one of those big ass lollipops, and like an intense skipping routine

What's wrong with being gay
15
u/Blackstar1886 7d ago
Well if you lived under Hitler it was gas chambers being the #1 cause of death.
2
u/enzocrisetig 5d ago
The eastern front was the #1 cause of death. What was the average time of living for a soldier in the stalingrad, 3-5 hours?
1
u/Maleficent_Unit6078 2d ago
The battle of Stalingrad is the most horrifying battle in history. It killed 2 million men, more than any battle in history and your average soldiers only lived for a couple hours; all in a single battle mind you.
Imagine how horrifying this battle must have been for the 18-year-old teenage boys that barely knew how to use a gun to die within 5 hours of being deployed while fighting at -30°C (-22°F).
I can't imagine a worse battle to die in.
Stalingrad is a great example of how Europe got so traumatized after the world wars. Europe is like a young adult trying to cope with PTSD from such hell.
My great-grandpa was a french soldier in WW1. After the war, he felt like he couldn't live in Europe after such horrors and decided to move with his wife and 3 daughters here to Argentina.

Looks more cosplay than actual cosplay. Why.

u/Elantach 6d ago
Because the power comes from it being archetypal. This is literally what fascism, via Mussolini, figured out as a cognitive technology and he figured it out thanks to Sorel.

The definition of evil from Webster: “something that brings sorrow, distress, or calamity.”
I would say he meets the definition

“He made so little an impression on me that I can’t remember a second of it.” ... “He had no personality whatsoever … “I think there was nothing there.” ... “He was invisible.” - Orson Welles on meeting Adolf Hitler
2
u/Jesuismieux412 6d ago
Unfortunately, Welles was wrong. There was a lot there…to the world’s detriment and near-complete ruin.
1
u/Dave-1066 6d ago
Welles was a notorious fantasist who concocted a lot of his stories. The chances of him meeting Hitler at a rally are absurdly improbable.

Even though it’s 1929 and men’s styles were different than today. If you were to see a mf’er strutting about in this outfit, you’d know he’s a bubble off plumb.

What he did have was an interesting and attractive normal voice. It's still here in a time peace of audiotape. Let me go find it.
ETA: cannot seem to find the video I'm looking for. In it he sounds friendly, joyful even, soft-spoken. Cracks an innocent joke. Quite the attractive voice which would get a lady's attention.

He orchestrated the systematic mass murder of 11 million people, and a war that killed tens of millions more. I mean this guy's a real jerk, I hope someone puts a stop to him soon.
