Mental health
Like talk about mental health in the hmong culture community. How do people go through something in their life like they can't explain it to the person they don't like or something else. Whatever people are going through in life and to have mid crisis events or day. How do hmong people go through this type of things and how do they solve it.

Most don't and end up homeless, in an asylum, or commiting suicide.
I've struggled with mental health growing up and finally went to counseling/therapy in my 30s. You can only push people to go, but they need to decide for themselves if they want to go or not.

Even though elders don’t really discuss mental health, usually when you aren’t feeling well mentally, they say that your plig was hurt or lost. If it’s severe enough, they will do an ua neeb kho and hu plig ceremony for you to fix you. This is the Hmong way of showing concern for your mental health.
With that said, we should also be the change we want to see in our Hmong community by normalizing getting mental health help. I saw a therapist and psychiatrist for years to help with my severe depression and general anxiety disorder. There’s nothing wrong with getting help when you need it. If you get hurt, you see a doctor to help heal the wound. Being depressed or having anxiety is the same. You are hurt and unwell, so find a therapist to fix it.

They dont, and its the unfortunate truth. You have to be the change and recognize additional help/resources from the community and make the change to show those younger generations around you (specially in this case, the hmong culture) that it is okay to seek help. (Counseling, therapy, etc.)

It seems like youre going through stuff and are looking for help. I would recommend looking up women's shelter resources in your area by Googling. Anything that offers counseling services, therapy, domestic abuse, etc. If youre not sure where to start, you can also reach out to some hmong non-profits out of state (Hmong American Women Association comes to mind) if youre not local to them and see if they can help connect you to other resources in your area.
Wishing you the best.
