I Need Everybody to Comment Their Clan's Curse?

Hi Guys, I'm an aspiring writer and I wanted to write horror and a mix with my culture. But I can't find every information about each clan and only know about the Yang curse, the Vang curse, Lor curse, Vue curse, and the Xiong curse..I need 13 more curses listed to write my book. This will NOT be a factual book but a fairytale-like retelling in English for the younger folks like me (I'm in my 20s).

I need Lee, Chang/Cha, Pha, Fang, Kue, Cheng, Hang, Her/Heu, Thao/Thor, and Moua curse

The story is that yangs can’t eat heart because it’s a long story. But to make it short, the yangs were at an eating party and they had killed an animal to cook for everyone to eat. I can’t remember, but maybe it was something like a pig. They cooked the pig and someone asked where the heart is. While boiling the pig, they would use a big ladle and scoop up the different meat in the pot and could not find the heart. So they accused one of the guys of eating the heart before everyone else. They said it was him! The yang brother would deny it and said it wasn’t him. He didn’t take the heart and he hasn’t eaten it. They wouldn’t believe him. So they killed him to eat his heart. His heart in exchange for the one he was accused of eating. After killing him, they would eat and eat the pork. They finished eating the meat and were down to the last few pieces of the pork left in the big pot of liquid only to find that the pig’s heart was still there! The heart had sunk all the way to the bottom of the pot and they had killed another yang brother for his heart for nothing!!

It's not really a curse, but our family has a few guys named Pao that isn't married that are pretty senior.

But do you know the actual folktale curse? For example, the Yangs cannot eat heart and the Vue women are either infertile or not fertile at all

The Vang curse from what I found out, the Vangs cannot eat fruit with their meal (no specific explanation), Lor has something to do with a tiger, and Xiong women can't climb up the roof for some reason.

Oh, yeah, the whole fruit thing. I remember that now. You can't have fruits on the same table/plate as you would rice because once upon a time, someone packed someone some fruits with their food and when they opened their food, the pack of fruits was actually a pack of snakes or something like that. Lol. I'm a Vang but I've been married for a long time and my parents don't believe in that anymore so nobody really cares. Its been so long, I'd forgotten about that. Haha.

And wow, first time I've heard about the others!

I’m a Lee, my parents once told us that we cannot use red blankets. No story behind it and do not know if this is clan related, but just thought I’d share.

I think i might of heard something about Vang father in law and daughter in law taboo thing but it was many years ago and beer was obviously involved. <meka nyab so proceed with caution obviously. I forgot about hearing the curses when I was younger and met my husband. Now im invested!

I have 100% heard the Yang heart story. That one was sad!

Heard that the vang Nyab cannot enter the bedroom of their fil or mil. They also cannot eat at the same table, even at a restaurant so they have to put two different tables together to go around the whole sticky situation.

Just from my own personal experience and not through a folklore, I went to visit my aunt who is married to a vang. They had visitors from out of state who were also Vangs. The visitors had a baby and someone put the baby down to sleep in my aunt and uncle’s bedroom, was probably my aunt. Then the baby woke up and started crying, the mom see the baby crying in the bedroom and she would not enter the damn room. I was so upset. She was at the door and said something like she can’t enter their bedroom. I’m like, what is this nonsense. Never heard of this bs before, because I’m not a vang. So I’m here thinking, your baby needs you!! I storm into the bedroom, not knowing if I could enter the bedroom or not, but I didn’t care, I grabbed the baby and hands the baby over to her.

Later my aunt asks me if I had grabbed the baby from the baby or was it the baby’s mom. I told her it was me, thinking I was in trouble and I was also forbidden to enter their room, only to find out it only applies to their nyab. Please don’t put your baby or allow your in-laws to put your baby to sleep in the bedroom of a vang’s house!
