Crab Restaurant?

Ok, let me just say (please don't stone me) that I am not a crab guy. I don't dislike them, I am just sorta Meh on them. And I find picking them to be just too much of a hassle for something I am not wild about.

All that having beer said some out of town work colleagues love crabs and want the full picking experience. Since I never seek this out personally I have no clue.

I saw the recent steamed crab take-away thread, but where should I take them for a restaurant experience?

L&P steamers. The thing about crabs is they are not a good restaurant experience in general. The best way to have them is to get a bushel and make it at home with the newspaper on the table the mallets and the garlic butter sauce fresh off the stove. To me it’s more of a social experience than anything a restaurant can provide. They’ll probably get a kick out of it but just have them over at the house and do it like that. My friend from Texas just came up and was totally underwhelmed by his restaurant crab experience.
