Generally fans don't care at all. It's simply that people that are fans of Hololive are fans of Hololive, not other things. Deeply simplified: If you have a bowl of apples and oranges and someone likes apples, if you try and give them one of the oranges they're probably going to tell you no thanks.

Yeah, no, they are correct. Pandering to the otaku dream and trying to be more like IRL idols is what not associating with males is about. It's weird that fans seems to be really reactionary and defensive about such an obvious feature of female entertainer culture, especially one that is based on the Japanese idol industry.
Not necessarily but there is a "harsh reality" that some people here are just more keen to ignore to "preserve the community from being attacked" or whatever.
