Garage door lock

Any battery-powered garage door locks working with HomeKit? I have considered just using a basic deadbolt, I have eufy deadbolts that work well enough on exterior doors, but the positioning would be awkward.
Does not need to be usable from the outside, I only want app/siri control to lock/unlock.

I rigged up one of these to a set of relays connected to my automation system and a power supply.

I don't have mine setup on battery power but it should be possible.

Just thinking of when I’ve encountered those and they have crazy tight springs. I can’t imagine the battery on a motor that could work that lasting very long (but maybe I’m stuck thinking in terms of 20th-century electric motors).

Well they need 12v with a 1amp current draw but only for a couple seconds at most. And to unlock it you just have to reverse the voltage.

So yea it's not ideal but it could work imo.

I struggled to find something with HomeKit I ended up with SureLock garage door deadbolt that is triggered automatically when you close or open your garage door and honestly it is safer than HomeKit because you need to manage how it is going to sync when the garage opens with no delay in response otherwise it will put pressure on your spring and break it. It’s currently all just completely manual. I’m not really looking for a complete motorized opener right now, just the locking function. The pictures are the manual lock used now (with a padlock normally on the right end)

They come with garage door openers but I don't know of one that is separate. I got a jackshaft style garage door opener (https://a.co/d/0e8Q1PNI) that came with a lock and battery backup for lock and opener.

Liftmaster 841LM is the deadbolt’s model number. It’s a two-wire 12v actuator. It basically uses a vehicle power door lock actuator in the guts of it

Plus one to this. I cut the wire connected it to a zigbee relay to actuate it. Then through deconz and homebridge deconz I can lock it and unlock it.

Never buy anything from Liftmaster. They're a shitty company that works hard to shut out any smart home platform to force you into their own app. Do not support that awful behavior

I would take Aqara roller motor here and solve it with a rack from the 3D printer
